Life in Fruita

We have been enjoying life in the high desert. The first few days we had a couple cool cats as neighbors. Dave and Rick, from Crested Butte. The shared there fire, beer, and stories of life abroad. Dave told us stories of his time in Hawaii, and it made me even more excited to learn to surf. Last night was our first desert storm, 30mph winds and sleet. Today and the rest of the week it will be 60's and sunny.... Live long and prosper!

Here is some eye candy!

Just a little sneak peak.

This is where we will be spending winter sucka fools!

Life is great, or at least better than yours!

Sorry for the time gap, Jen and I have had a whirl wind week n half. Where to start, well we met Shawny Mac in boulder and headed straight for Angle Fire. The last G3 race was going on. The weather was excellent, 75 sunny the whole time. So we partied, rode our bikes, and went to a costume party where they held a mayonnaise eating contest. Lets just say that the one guy who won has eaten two pint glasses of mayonnaise before.... From there we followed Shawny back to boulder where we hung out for a week. We did apex trail on Monday, the infamous Neds ride on Tuesday, rested on Wednesday, and The pipline trail and Thursday. Thursday nigh we had amazing sushi. Abby you where right about the multiple orgasm! then Friday Jen and I started a new sport, mountain climbing/bouldering. Yes we bought shoes and a chalk bag and climbed indoor at the Spot all day Friday. Needless to say my hands hurt bad, but it was worth it. Saturday we headed for Fruita but got side tracked at the Coors Brewery. Well we got free beer and didn't make it down to Fruita. We pulled our trusty jeep into a parking/camping spot in Silverthorne. Well when we woke up it had snow 3inches of snow that night. Shit it was cold and wet. So we made our way down the mountain slow but steady and now are in Glenwoods Springs. good bye for now, and remember LET YOUR SOUL RAGE!

Zero hour!

We are off. i felt like a kid on x-mas eve last night waiting for the jolly fat man to come and leave me present under the tree. Expect the presents aren't toy guns or a sled, instead a bag full of freedom, epic rides with my beautiful girlfriend Jen (and whoever else is cool enough to come), two months on a surfboard in Hawaii, and months and months time to learn the true meaning of "walkabout". So who ever thinks life is better lived safe and between the lines should check back every once and a while, you might change your outlook on life!!!!!
